How much does it cost to join? We do not publish that information, but you can obtain it during the application process. Generally, there are two components: an initiation fee and annual dues. Younger applicants have an opportunity to spread out payment of their initiation and the dues vary by age and membership type, with younger members in each type being less than for older members. Dues for the first year are pro-rated based on when you join. There are no minimum dining or like charges in addition to dues. There are monthly credit card and direct deposit plans available to spread dues out over the year. Back to the top

I would like to join but do not know any members of FBYC. Can I still join the club? Yes. If you don’t already know club members who can help you line up sponsors and help you through the application process, contact the FBYC’s Secretary, who is also the Chair of the Membership Committee, and the Secretary will help put you together with current Members, preferably in your area of interest. For example, if you are interested in racing keelboats, he would arrange for you to meet with members who are active in the Offshore Division. You would also be informed of any club activities which might be appropriate and encouraged to attend where the Secretary or other designated Members would serve as your host and assist you in meeting Members.
