SPRING SERIES

MAY 4, 10, 18 & 31, 2003

DESCRIPTION

The Spring Series will consist of four race days. Each day will consist of up to five races. A separate course will be set for Optimists, if possible. A cookout / dinner will follow the races on May 10th and May 31st.

PROGRAM

Registration 0900

Skippers Meeting 1000

First Warning Signal 1100

Followed by subsequent races

Followed by refreshments and daily awards

CLASSES

Classes are Byte, Flying Scot, Frontrunner, Laser, Laser Radial, 420, Mobjack, and Optimist. A class of any three like or unlike one design boats is also invited to race. The Portsmouth Number (D-PN) handicapping system will be used to score classes of unlike boats.

AWARDS

Awards will be presented by the Race Chair for each day’s racing shortly after the conclusion of racing. Series awards will be presented on the final day, if possible.

CBYRA SANCTION

Each day of the Spring Series is sanctioned as a separate event for CBYRA High Point awards in certain classes as shown in the CBYRA One Design Schedule.
