DESCRIPTION

Gibson Island is good for new and experienced sailors alike. Gibson Island is on a secluded spit of land about 30 minutes north east of Annapolis. It has a beautiful protected harbor with a scale and feeling similar to Fishing Bay. Their racecourse is not far from beach, no motorboat traffic.

FBYC PLANS

We usually leave FBYC the night before and stay at a sailing host's house. Team boats will be transported by the coaching staff.

DIRECTIONS

Gibson Island is on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay just north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge near Annapolis. Take Route 177 east from Glen Burnie, MD
