MEMORIAL WEEKEND/ROSEGILL CRUISE/CORROTOMAN

Memorial Day weekend FBYC style offers something for everyone. Racing (or cruising) to Rosegill on Saturday morning and the Rosegill party and awards presentations that follow are ìall-clubî events. On Sunday, the cruising division is invited to anchor or raft-up in the Western Branch of the Corrotoman and join Sheila and Gordon Nelson for a continuation of festivities. Gordon says "Sail to our home on the Western Branch of the Corrotoman River on Sunday the 28th. Location is 37 44.056/076 30.646 or about 5 miles up the Corrotoman from the #2 entrance day marker. We're on the right or northeast side. The anchorage is good and fairly well protected from all sides, and I can arrange for one or two slips if needed. We'll have a grill, kayaks, dinghy transportation, ice and soft drinks available. Please bring something to grill and a side dish to share. Chaired by Sheila and Gordon Nelson.
