INDIAN SUMMER REGATTA

ALL ONE DESIGN DINGHY CLASSES WELCOME
Separate starts will be provided for any class with 4 or more boats pre-registered
.
ENTRIES: Preferred method is pre-registration and payment of entry fees at www.fbyc.net. On site registration begins October 14, 8:00 AM.
Entry Fees:
Entry fee waived for Optimist, 420, JY-15, Laser
$5 per entry for Flying Scot, Front Runner, Mobjack, Hampton.
RACING PROGRAM: The race committee will attempt as many races per class as conditions allow.
Skippers meeting 9:30 AM. Warning signal for first start 11:00 AM.
Refreshments and awards immediately following racing.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Special Sailing Instructions will be available the morning of the event at Registration/Check-In and the Skipper’s Meeting on October 14.
SOCIAL PROGRAM: Continental breakfast, beginning at 8 AM on Saturday, and after race refreshments are included with entry fee. Dinner of Lasagna, Salad & Bread, for a separate charge of $7 per person, will be available Saturday evening at 6:00 PM. Reservations for Dinner required prior to the end of registration on October 14.
Other Meal and Activity Options include:
Ocean Cruising Group – catered by “The Bus” – choice of 2 main courses items, veggie, salad and dessert @ $18/person.

Holly Point Art & Seafood Festival at the Maritime Museum 10am-4pm.
Godspeed will be open for tours at Fishing Bay Harbor marina all weekend.

DESCRIPTION
|
The Indian Summer Regatta will consist of
one day of racing with up to seven races in each of the classes. There may
be three separate race courses:
Optimists will be divided into Red, Blue,
White and Green fleets, as defined by USODA. There may be a separate start
for the Green fleet.

|
Information regarding registration, classes, social
activities, awards will be available at www.fbyc.net/Events/. On-line
registration will be available and pre-registration is encouraged.
Discounted pre-registration will end October 6th. Registrations will be
accepted until 10:00am on October 14th.

CLASSES
|
Classes are 420, Flying Scot, Front
Runner, Laser, Laser Radial, Mobjack, and Optimist. Additional classes may
be added at the discretion of the Event Chair or the One Design Division
Commander.

AWARDS
|
Awards will be presented by the Event
Chair shortly after the conclusion of racing.
|
|
CBYRA SANCTION
|
The Regatta is sanctioned as a separate
event for CBYRA High Point awards in certain classes as shown in the CBYRA
One Design Schedule.
