Crew Training Session 4 at FBYC

A meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday March 28 at 7pm at Retreat Hospital to meet and greet candidates. Members will be available to answer questions and to describe what you can expect both when you arrive at the club for the training sessions and on a race day.

On-the-water crew training for off-shore candidates is scheduled for April 8, 9 and 15. A meeting for candidates and skippers is scheduled for 7 pm on Tuesday March 28 in the Boardroom at Retreat Hospital. The entrance to the hospital is from Robinson Street, two blocks east of the Boulevard on Floyd and Grove Avenues. There is limited parking on Robinson Street, Floyd and Grove Avenues but ample in the Retreat Hospital Parking Deck. After you get into the hospital you should walk to the end of the corridor that starts just after the glass entrance doors and you will find the Board Room entrance immediately ahead of you.

Refreshments will be available during the meeting and all crew candidates are invited to attend. Recruiters, who many of our candidates have already met, and some skippers will be available to answer questions. We are very encouraged with the interest that has been shown in this program. Our only request of candidates is that you either call or preferably e-mail David Hazlehurst to let me know whether or not you will be present on March 28, and if not which on-the-water session or sessions you plan to attend.
