WHO

Any Junior Sailor with an Optimist, Laser, Laser Radial or 420 may sail in this event. This is an excellent opportunity to exercise what you learned in Junior Week in a Regatta devoted to Juniors including those from other clubs.

The registration fee covers the cost of a light breakfast and cookout. On-line registration is available and encouraged-see www.fbyc.net. Special T-shirts may be available for purchase.

DESCRIPTION

This is a single day of racing with three to five or more races open to Juniors. There will be a separate Optimist course for the Virginia State Optimist Championship. Optimists will be divided into Red, Blue, White, and Green fleets, as defined by USODA. There will be a separate start for the Green fleet, which will be coached by Nationally recognized Green Fleet Coach Tommy Coleman. A modest registration fee will be charged.

CBYRA SANCTION

This regatta is sanctioned for CBYRA High Point Awards in the Junior division for certain classes as shown in the CBYRA One Design Schedule.

SPECIAL NOTE

Volunteers with powerboats are always welcome to be on the water
