Stingray Point Regatta

DESCRIPTION

This regatta will consist of up to five round-the-buoys races; three races sailed on Saturday, September 3, and two races sailed on Sunday, September 4, 2004. If only one race is completed on Saturday, two races will be attempted on Sunday.

REGISTRATION

Information regarding registration, classes, social activities, awards, etc., will be available from Allan Heyward and at www.fbyc.net/Events. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, August 30, 2006 by 1800.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

Skippers will receive Special Sailing Instructions at registration.

CLASSES

Starts will be offered for the following classes: PHRF A, B, C/D, Non Spinnaker, and MORC. If sufficient yachts are registered, the classes may be subdivided, one-design classes added or classes combined and different courses designated for each subdivision as a warranted to enhance the quality of racing. See Special Sailing Instructions.

RACE AREA

Chesapeake Bay off the mouth of the Piankatank River

COURSE

Races will be on round-the-buoys courses using drop marks or government marks listed in the Special Sailing Instructions.

CBYRA SANCTION

This is a sanctioned event for CBYRA High Point awards.
