DESCRIPTION

This event will consist of one Long Distance race sailed around government marks. This race is the second race of the Distance Series

Boats without PHRF Valid Ratings are encouraged to participate, with ratings assigned by the Race Committee. Such ratings are at the discretion of the committee and not subject to appeal.

PROGRAM

Awards will be presented by FBYC

Classes

Classes offered will be PHRF Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker.

Non-Spinnaker will be sailed allowing only one (1) headsail downwind

WARNING SIGNAL

The warning signal for the start will be at 1100 hours.

STARTING AREA

The Committee Boat will be in the vicinity of FBYC “A” and FBYC “B”.

COURSES

The courses will be around government marks with FBYC designations (refer to Appendix A).

TIME LIMITS

If one boat in a class finishes within two (4) hours after the start for that class, then the race will be valid for all boats in that class.

SCORING

The score for this race day will be combined as a part of the Long Distance Series

CBYRA SANCTION

These races are CBYRA sanctioned and the results of this race will be used to determine winners of FBYC perpetual trophies.
