Sailing Divisions
Fishing Bay Yacht Club’s
racing programs and sailing activities
are managed through four different fleets.
The following is designed to provide general information about each Fleet.
Race Committee and other support
Mr. Roberts serves as our primary Race Committee boat. It is about 40' long, has twin diesels,
and carries the 3-5 people needed for race committee duty. She is supported by 2 club owned outboards,
the Seacraft, a 18' skiff
primarily used as a mark boat - shown tied up behind Mr. Roberts and the Whaler - a 13' Boston Whaler
used for the Juniors and in Fishing Bay.
The Club also owns a number of small sailboats used for training. We own the fleet of 7 420's,
13 Optis, and 3 Lasers, all available for members and first time users.
