Progressive Dinner

2-3: PROGRESSIVE DINNER CRUISE
On Saturday you will have a leisurely cruise up the
Piankatank to an anchorage near 37o32.385’N Latitude and 76o 24.02W Longitude
(in cove in front of the DeNunzio home). Go up the Piankatank to Horse Point
and at day marker R-“14” turn to a course of 305o M for about 500 yards and
then turn to a course of 325 to 330o M for about 700 yards (follow docks until
you come to 2nd from last dock with Grady White on lift and “American Pie” in
slip. Anchor anywhere near the dock, as the depth is 16- 20 feet with
excellent holding sand/mud bottom. Come early and enjoy a dip in the pool.
There is room for a boat or two at the DeNunzio dock. Cocktails will be at
Sarah Carneal’s home (directly across from DeNunzio’s). It is a short dingy
ride to Sarah’s and back to DeNunzio’s for dinner. For those not having a
dingy, a water shuttle will be provided. Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres will be
included and provided at 1700 at Sarah’s. Dinner with wine and other drinks
will be served at 1900 at DeNunzio’s. A Karaoke contest and dancing will follow
dinner and considerable quantities of adult beverages. On Sunday morning you
will sail 10 nm to Mathews Yacht Club for breakfast at 1000. There is room for
several boats at Mathews Y.C. docks and plenty of room for anchoring. After
breakfast, you may wish to relax at the Yacht Club or head home - 8 nm. Cost
for this weekend of great food, spirits, and fun with our fellow club members
is $40 per person including breakfast, and $30 per person for cocktails and
dinner only ($10.00 for Breakfast only).
