MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND/ ROSEGILL-URBANNA CRUISE/YANKEE POINT YACHT CLUB DINNER
Memorial
Day weekend offers something for everyone at FBYC. Race or cruise to Urbanna on Saturday morning, attend the
Rosegill party that evening, or spend the day exploring Urbanna. For those only
exploring Urbanna, plan on attending a cocktail party at 1700 hrs hosted by Ted
and Myra Bennett, then, dinner at the dock or in town.
The Lyttonís have 6 docks reserved at the Urbanna Town Marina for Saturday. If
you want one let them know very soon.
If they are not claimed by May 10th they will let them go per
agreement with the Dock Master. On Sunday, May 25th, Fishing
Bay has arranged a festive evening of camaraderie at the Yankee Point Yacht
Club. Please bring a hors dí
oeuvre to share and your beverage of choice. Ice and soft drinks will be provided. Stella and Charlie Jones will provide
us with North Carolina barbeque for dinner and peach cobble for dessert. Plan to anchor out and dinghy in or
check with the marina at 804-462-7635 for any available slips. On Memorial Day feel free to check out
the marinaís Snack Bar at the top of the hill for breakfast before having a
leisurely sail back to Fishing Bay.
