FBYC One Design Division Chartlet
FBYC One Design Racing is typically held in areas A, B and C on the chartlet, but for the NAC we will also sail in the area northeast of C, conditions permitting. FBYC is located just to the Northeast of the A on the narrow isthmus between Fishing Bay and Jackson Creek. The ramp is on Fishing Bay and the hoist is on Jackson Creek. An alternative ramp is across the creek, near the creek mouth. Stingray Point forms the lower mouth of the Rappahannock River where it enters the open Chesapeake Bay.

Thanks to Terraserver for the following aerial image of Fishing Bay and the Middle Peninsula. Note the shoals off Stove Point, Gwynn's Island, Stingray Point and at the mouth of Jackson Creek, which has a narrow, but well marked "dog leg" channel that cuts through the bar and then proceeds west behind it. Depending on tide, it is possible to wade boats across the bar with centerboards up rather than try to tack the narrow channel of the Jackson Creek entrance, which is possible only in ideal conditions.
