Special Accommodations for the Flying Scot 2007 North American Championships
Listed below are local accommodations in the Deltaville area, with approximate minutes from FBYC. We have established blocks of rooms at group rates for Sunday night June 24 through Wednesday night June 27, 2007. Due to the relatively limited accommodations in the area, you are strongly encouraged to book early. Some of the hotels will expand the group reservation if the group number is exceeded, so reserve NOW, if possible! In addition to the commercial accommodations, a number of FBYC members offered to accept guests. However, like all good things that go early by word of mouth, most of these opportunities have already been taken by sailors with prior relationships at FBYC. We will continue to try to identify other opportunities, but you should not, at this point, rely on this option.

It is 25 miles from the club on excellent highways delayed only by passage thru Kilmarnock and White Stone (small towns). 20 non-smoking rooms have been blocked June 24-27, 2007. On the Route 17 Bypass in Gloucester only 20 miles from the Club by fast moving, nice rural highways, delayed only by passage thru part of Gloucester. (25 Minutes) Located on Route 33 in Christ Church, Va., this private secondary school has offered a few air conditioned dormitory rooms with 2 single beds with shared hall baths, or semi-private adjoining baths, at $65 per room with cafeteria breakfast from 7:30 to 8:00 am.
