WHO

This program is to bring beginning sailors - ages 8 - 11 into the racing fold by providing them with regular practice with an experienced coach along with limited travel to away regattas with accommodations for beginning racers (Green Fleet)

There is a fee and advanced registration is required (see separate fee schedule). On-line registration is available and encouraged-see www.fbyc.net.  Space is limited and an additional charge is made for late registration (space available only).

Prerequisite:  Young sailors entering this program should have already mastered basic boat handling and must be capable of sailing their Optimist out to the practice course on Fishing Bay and back

DESCRIPTION

Class will be held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 9 till 4 beginning the week following Junior Week. Students will attend on and off-water classes on all three days unless at or traveling to/from regattas.  Students will need a parent or guardian at both home practices and away events but parents can coop this amongst themselves if they like.
