Fireworks/St. Marys Cruise

July 2-5: FIREWORKS/ST MARY’S CRUISE

Back by popular demand is our Fireworks Cruise. Plan to leave FBYC on Thursday, July 2, sail to St. Mary’s City, and anchor off the College dock. The current will be with us or slack until noon at Smith Pt. then, turning against us in the Potomac. On Friday, July 3.we’ll plan a group get together with drinks and a light meal on the dock / lawn at 16:30. After the meal, we’ll walk to the ‘concert on the lawn’ conducted by Hillary Kole, called “50’s 4^th”. At the end of the concert, the fabulous 1812 Overture will be played by the orchestra, followed by fireworks. On Saturday, we’ll sail to Reedville for their afternoon parade and evening Fireworks. The current should have little effect on this trip. We’ll anchor in Cockrell Creek. Dinner to be determined: on board, Crazy Crab or Tommy’s. On Sunday, we’ll plan on sailing back to FBYC.
