Sailing Coaches
Members who are happy to be Sailing Coaches
Lud Kimbrough has suggested that another way to improve
participation at FBYC is to provide as easy way for those
who are not very familiar with sailing or sailboat racing
to gain the assistance of others who are more experienced.
Some of those more experienced members do not currently own
boats, and are making themselves available to coach those who
may need a little help.

The following lists those who have agreed to make themselves
available as a coach.

- Types of boats: Offshore & Flying Scot
- Experience: 35+ years racing offshore and One Design, former Junior instructor
- Availability: All - getting boats on the water is #1 priority this year.

- Types of boats: Larger Offshore Boats
- Experience: I owned and raced a 40' boat for 17 years, 6 Bermuda Races,
2 SORCs, 15 NYYC Cruises in new England and Maine, and should be of some help
in sailing or organizing racing programs.
- Availability: I now race a J-105 so am available at times other than FBYC Offshore Race Days.

- Experience: Foredeck, trimmer, helm, tactics. 30+ yrs.

- Experience: 20+ years campaigning offshore and one-design.
- Availability: Usually available for offshore; OD available when not racing my Front Runner.
