Hull smooth and stiff with no scratches below the waterline and very few above. (Hull has a blue stripe and the few scratches are in the blue area of the bow). There are two or three spots where the previous owner dinged and repaired the grab rails and also mounted a compass into the deck and then removed and repaired the four screw holes. Boat and mast can do not leak (mast can has never been repaired either). The boat has a brand new tiller and tiller extension. Upgraded rigging with new lines. Three sails (Standard rig only). I have '96 LASER 2 w/ a blue and white stiff/non leaky hull in excellent condition. The boat comes with a '97 Nautical America trailer which is also in great shape with new lights and tires. There is a single sail set of main,jib, and spinnaker(blue, yellow and white) along with a blue blade bag that contains all the rigging necessary for racing. My brother and I bought this boat when I was entering high school. We loved and used the boat every chance we got. It was the perfect setup for a little bit of racing and a little bit of everything. Sadly, I am going off to college and cannot take her with me. |
