Hey Smith Point racers, grab your charts, & weather reports for the Smith point race. 

With an 11:00 hours start, we’ll select the course to work with the forecasted wind speed and aim for a finish before sunset, followed by an ice cream social.

The 3rd Annual Rescue Regatta sets sail July 25–26, and 15 boats are already on board (we expect to exceed 30+ boats from 2024 participation) to raise funds for the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad.  Well, and have a heck of a good time sailing and Parting!!

Who doesn't like a great regatta (and PARTY)--whether a cruising vessel or racing?  Chesapeake Bay--Racing--Party--Fund Raising?  LET'S GO!!!

This fun, one-day regatta is open to all sailors, members and non-members alike. If you’ve got a boat 25 feet or less at the waterline and a skipper age 60 or older, you’re good to go. Crew can be any age.

We welcome all classes of boats—Flying Scots, Typhoons, Windmills, Mobjacks, Lasers, Front Runners, San Juan 21s, Melges—and especially any Classic boat. The older the better! If you can sail it, we’ll score it.

There are trophies for every fleet with a special Vintage Skipper Award for the top skipper age 70 or older.

Come out for a great day of sailing, help us honor our friend Jere Dennison, and stick around for the post-race …

An Invitation from MYC:

Mathews Yacht Club, is having a Mix & Mingle event with live music from 5-7pm on Saturday, July 26th and FBYC is invited.

There will be drinks and appetizers available for purchase.  This is a great opportunity for our club members to meet and connect socially.
