Signs of Spring: Five porpoise
spotted running along side the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel pilings; the
grinding gears of multi-ton lifts, hauling boats to be splashed; and sails
heading toward summer slips. Lots of sails heading toward slips. For
instance, on the Rappahannock tomorrow, watch for PHRF South Region VP,
Mike Dale, to be bringing his J/27, Juggernaut,
down the rivah from Urbanna.

and distribution of the 2008 CCV Racing Guide. FREE
clinic and OPEN TO ALL. At the Mariners' Museum, Newport News, 6:30 PM to
8:30 PM. The CCV Racing Guide is available to members of CCV and
included in the $25 annual membership dues. If you have not
already, you can join CCV at this event and get your personal copy of the
2008 CCV Racing Guide on the spot. Directions to the
Mariners' Museum: from I-64, take Exit 258A for Route 17
South & J.Clyde Morris Blvd. South. Pass through the
intersection of JCM and Warwick Blvd (just after passing the Riverside Hospital
complex on your left) and watch for the left turn on to Museum
Drive.

MURPHY'S LAW: April Fools'
Day is a favorite holiday for Yrs Truly, The Racing
Beagle. I spend hours getting dressed up for the
nearest Doo-Dah Parade or April Fools' Party. Most folks are taken aback
by a beagle in Topsiders! And, watch out for those April Fools'
tricksters - your boat probably did NOT sink at the dock, no matter what your
