7 Juniors return from AYC Junior Regatta and upcoming plans

There is a slew of upcoming events which are as follows:Saturday, June 29th is the Fishing Bay Yacht Club's Junior Regatta. I have already been hearing from other clubs such as RRYC and HYC telling me that they are planning to come over for it. Fleets will include 420, Laser, Laser Radial, Byte, Opti and Opti Green Fleet. Don't forget that we have ten optis, two Lasers, and three 420s for our juniors to use for the regatta! Registration starts at 9:00am, with the skipper's meeting being at 10:00am. We look forward to seeing you there!
Tuesday, July 2nd is the Bemis, Smythe regatta that will be held at Tred Avon. We will be able to take one 420 and two Lasers to this event. It serves as a qualifier for our district. It is safe to say that the travel plans for this regatta will include leaving from Fishing Bay the previous night. If you are interested in going to this regatta, please give me an email.
Friday, July 5th will be the Virginia State Opti Champs, to be held at Hampton Yacht Club. We strongly encourage any and all of our opti racers to go to this event. There will surely be give-aways and good sailing. We will likely be heading to this regatta the night before. Please email me if you are interested in this regatta.
Tuesday, July 9th will be the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club Junior Regatta. This regatta has been a less competitive fleet in the past, so anyone that wants to break the ice with there first away regatta should definitely give this one a try. We may leave the night before, or the morning of this regatta. Please email me if you are interested.
Like all of our past events, volunteers make this program manageable. If you are a parent and are able to help out with any of the above events, please email me. Your help is truly appreciated.
