Awesome Day on the Rivah

And a good time was had by all!
23 racers in 4 fleets enjoyed great breeze and clear skies all the way to Urbanna last Saturday in this annual Long-Distance race. Few remember such a splendid day to race up the river, and those who were best able to read the shifts and currents proved their skills by finishing at the top of their fleets.
Thanks to Bill Spencer, Doug Magargee, Cathy Clark, Brooks Zerkel, and their RC crew for again conducting this great event. And many thanks to Janie French and Mike Calkins for organizing the fantastic band and social event at Liberty at Compass Quay in Urbanna. A splendid time was had by all, and to all of you who made it happen, Bravo!
