The weather forecast is for a beautiful day! Don’t miss one of the Club’s favorite events! EVERYONE is invited to mingle with our hearty sailors after the races. Oyster lovers can enjoy them on-the-halfshell, roasted, Rockefeller and Casino. We’ll also offer delicious grilled hotdogs and buffet tables loaded with all the tasty dishes brought by our partygoers.
Register now online! Pick up your wristband at the Registration Desk outside the Clubhouse beginning Sat am. Doors open for the Oyster Roast around 3:30 to allow time for the racers to get back in and cleaned up for the party. Don’t forget to bring your oyster knife and gloves if you want to shuck your own. We will have shucking tables and plenty of fresh oysters!
Your $7 ticket covers the oysters and dogs, potluck, beer, wine, soft drinks AND the great tunes brought to you by FBYC’s own Mike Dale! Ric’s Place will also be open for mixed drinks—we are featuring Dark & Stormies and Vodka drinks for $5. Other drink will be available too.
Another great highlight of this event is the Oyster Roast Closing Day Awards Ceremony. This features prizes for the day’s winners BUT ALSO the Offshore and One Design Fall Series winners, the Long Distance winners AND several annual FBYC Perpetual Trophy winners!
