Email Redesign and More Website Migration news

You will notice a new look on the Club wide news and announcement emails. We have redesigned the template and added a link to “View email in browser” at the top of each email. The link will be helpful to those of you whose email client “Blocks Images”. In the browser view, the images should be visible. Secondly if you visit https://www.fbyc.net/Club/EmailNews you can see an archive of the last 10 “Membership” and “In Memoriam” emails.
We continue with rapid migration to our new website. We now have copied all 2003-2017 event sailing instructions, Notices, links to pictures, and results onto https://new.fbyc.net/events/. As a result, I shortly will remove navigation links to the old Zope Event pages. Any link to events will take you to the new pages. The final migration involved 100s of pictures stored deep within Zope which we were able to extract and add to Flickr for 2006-2009 events https://new.fbyc.net/flickr/stream/
Adios Zope!! You have been good to us, but also caused many headaches - aka “Zope Errors” (as many of us have experienced) for about 20 years now. Thank you for your service, but we are moving on to newer technology. Call Strother with questions or as you see any issues.
