During several islands stops on Virgin Gorda, Marina Cay and Jost Van Dyke, we noticed that other visting yacht clubs had left a momento of their home club. Not to be outdone from our friends in Annapolis, we decided to leave our own tribute to FBYC.

May 5th -12th - Chartering a boat in the British Virgin Islands has got to be one of the pinnacle vacations a sailor can plan, and for our family this was a trip we had planned for years.

This May, we chartered two 44ft catamarans from Sunsail out of Tortola. FBYC families Kathryn and Jason Angus with Richard and Kay Clary on one boat; Patti and Will Angus on the other. The week was spent sailing from island to island and enjoying everything the BVI's had to offer. The typical day started with a cup of coffee, casual glance at the map to decide which island is next, pulling off the mooring and setting sail only to arrive 2 hours later. BVIs delivered everything they promised with winds from the E at 10-12 every day.

Next time you make it to Foxy's on Jost Van Dyke, look for the FBYC Burgee...its in between the VT and UVA license plates.
