Junior Week Kickoff

Junior Week is almost upon us and we're gearing up for another great season of junior sailing. Opti Kids is already underway and giving our beginners the chance to launch their lifetime sailing careers. The remaining sessions will be held this weekend. Our coaches have begun their treks to Fishing Bay from places as far away as Buenos Aires and Rosario Argentina and we've already held five sucessful spring practice sessions since the end of April.

This coming Sunday (June 17th) we'll host our annual "Meet the Coaches Day" from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm. This is a free event for all juniors that would like a chance to meet FBYC's four fabulous coaches that will be running our instructional programs this summer. This program takes place on and off the water so bring your boat or grab a club boat and join us!

For all of you parents of racing juniors, please remember to join us for an extended race team planning session at the main clubhouse at 4:30 pm Sunday afternoon. This will be an opportunity to meet each other and help us plan upcoming practice and travel events.

Once Junior Week is underway Monday morning, we will provide an opportunity for parents to learn more about our continuing summer programs including Extended Race Team and Learn2Sail, which will begin shortly after the end of Junior Week. We look forward to seeing everyone this coming Monday to help us kick off Junior Week and a summer filled with great sailing and friends!
