Junior Week On-line Registration deadline now April 19

Noel has asked me to change the deadline for registration
(without surcharge for lateness) for the Junior Week related programs
from day after tomorrow to midnight Tuesday April 19 to give you time
to file your taxes and get thru our on-line registration process.
The balance
of this email should guide you through the registration
process.
Junior
Programs
The various
Junior Division Programs are described on http://www.fbyc.net/Juniors/ You will see
FBYC has lined up two great coaches this summer - Juan Carlos Romero, age 29,
who has been coaching Optis for 10 years (including the South American Optimist
Champion!). His assistant will be his friend Arel English, a 19 year old
Canadian. What a great resource FBYC has made available. Please use
it!!
Many of you
are having no trouble with the on-line process, but for those who need help, you
can read how at http://www.fbyc.net/Registration/Help
or I stand ready to assist - please call me on my cell 804-405-5999 (at any
normal hour!) and I will help resolve any problems. The following
describes the easy steps and links to click on.
UserName and password
You need a
password to the members only section. Many members
already have one, but if you need one - please go to http://www.fbyc.net/SignUp and fill out the
form. Mary or I will usually approve it in an hour or so. If you
have forgotten the Username and Password, go to http://www.fbyc.net/ForgotUser, enter your email address on record with FBYC (in the
yearbook). If you get a error page, that means we do not have that email
address on record with a password, otherwise, the computer will send you your
Username and Password.
Event Registration
In order to
register, go to the link below for your event. It will require you to log
in using your password. The entry form will be prefilled out with your personal
information. Change your name and birth date to that of your
child, and complete the rest of the information requested. Once you
click the Submit - "Register On Line Now" button,
if there are errors, it will reload the
page for corrections showing red ink for each error
, but otherwise, it will take you the https://www.fbyc.net/Registration/payment_page
Once you arrive at the Payment Page, do not Hit the back Button to
edit your registration - you will simply create a second registration.
After payment is successful, you will be sent an email with the information
submitted. If you end up with incorrect info, just please send me the
corrected information, and I will fix it.

Junior
Week Volunteer
This year we
are asking people who will be at Junior week who plan to help to please
register so that Noel, Steve and Mike will get a good list of who is
expected to come, who can do what jobs, etc. Please
go to
http://www.fbyc.net/Registration/rememberEvent?event_id=400 indicate who you are, when you will be there, what boat you can
bring, and what you can do.
For those who delay in
registering past next Tuesday, it will still be possible to register, but the
prices will increase by 10%. We will finally cut off registration at
some later date, currently around May 1.
