Fabulous racing on three courses, dining, dancing, fellowship, and making miracles happen.
The 17th Annual Leukemia Cup Regatta is just 5 weeks away Friday Night, July 10-Sunday, July 12- featuring two days of racing, dining, a live auction and other activities at The Deltaville Maritime Museum. FBYC will be providing race management on three courses and dozens of FBYC boats will be taking part in the racing. With classes for PHRF, Non-Spinnaker, Cruising, Classic and One-Design boats there's racing for everyone.
The Leukemia Cup Regatta is designed to raise funds for research to cure blood related cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. It has raised over $50 million dollars since it began. In 2014 over 10,000 sailors around the country took part in raising funds and sailing for this important cause. Incredibly (we are not, after all, San Francisco or Newport), our Leukemia Cup event has raised over $1.5 Million, and consistently performed among the top events in the country for fundraising!
