The Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta is only a week away!  Hosted by FBYC, the Regatta features PHRF, Cruising, Classics, and Typhoon classes, with two days of races being held both July 14 and 15. Get yourself registered today.

Registration is open for the 20th Anniversary Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta.  Hosted by Fishing Bay Yacht Club and Stingray Harbour Yacht Club, the event features racing for Cruising, PHRF, and Classic classes.  Held July 13-15 in Deltaville, the Leukemia Cup Regatta also features the Party for the Cure on July 14, with sailing awards, a crabcake dinner by J&W Seafood, music by Julius Pittman and the Revival, and silent and live auctions.  If you are unable to sail or attend the Party, you can still support the Regatta by fundraising with LLS.  Visit www.leukemiacup.org/va to register your boat, sign up to fundraise, or purchase tickets.

We are just days away from the 17th Annual Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta to be based again at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park over the weekend of July 10 -12. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is being flooded with registrations from racers around the Bay.

But it’s not too late to participate…registrations are being accepted through Thursday, July 9 at www.leukemiacup.org/va or register in person on Friday night before the event.  And those that choose not to be on the racecourse can register in advance for festivities on Friday and Saturday nights that will be fun for the entire ‘rivah’ family.

The 16th Annual Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta takes place over the weekend of July 11-13 in Deltaville. An exciting change this year is that all onshore activities will be hosted by the Deltaville Maritime Museum & Holly Point Nature Park on its spacious grounds.

Twice voted the Best Regatta on the Bay by the readers of Chesapeake Bay Magazine, Fishing Bay Yacht Club, Stingray Harbour Yacht Club, and Wilton Creek Cruising Club will continue to sponsor this popular regional sailing event.

The Leukemia Cup kicks-off Regatta Weekend with a reception on Friday evening, July 11, at the Deltaville Maritime Museum where participants will pick up their race instructions and enjoy adult beverages and a splendid crab cake dinner …

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society kicks off its 2014 Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta season in March with a Richmond appearance by world-class sailor and ESPN commentator, Gary Jobson. The program is free
and open to the public. It will be held at St. Catherine's School, 6001 Grove Avenue, Richmond, on Sunday afternoon, March 16, 3-5 pm. Voluntary donations of any amount will be appreciated to help the LLS defray expenses of the event.
