Scot Free is Ready and Waiting for You

June’s the perfect time to take YOUR Flying Scot out for a spin in Fishing Bay.

FBYC Club Manager, Brian Ankrom, and his crew have the Scot tied up at the dock and ready to go.  All you need to do is reserve the boat for the day you want.  Simply go to our website, FBYC.net and under the “Sailing” tab, click “Adult Sailing.”  There you will find a reservation form to fill out and a float plan.  You can reserve the boat up to a month in advance and Brian will confirm your reservation within 24 hours to make sure there are no conflicts with any other reservations.

There is a one-time payment of $100 for the entire season, for the entire family, for unlimited usage.  (And for our new FBYC members, remember that for your first season, the fee is waived.)

The Scot is pretty easy to rig and sail.  However, you might want to check out the following videos for a quick look at how to raise the sails and attach the sheets.  These videos are a little dated, but Flying Scots haven’t changed much over the years.  (You’ll see that much of the rigging work has already been done for you!)

Have fun out there!
