May 18-19: CRUISE TO ONANCOCK FOR THE “CAPTAIN JOHN SMITH - HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAA WEEKEND ON THE WHARF”

This is a Friday sail to Onancock with a night on the town. Saturday the Town will be alive. Onancock and NOAA will be sponsoring one of the Jamestown 400 events. There will be a reproduction Shallop on display, a sonar charting craft, exhibits under tents, an exhibit of 1600’s Eastern Shore wildlife and an escort boat parade. They will be dedicating the National Water Trail and the new Office of Coast Survey marker. The town will also have a band performing. This is a “don’t miss” Cruise. The Koedel's have three extra docks reserved for Friday & Saturday. If you want one let them know very soon. If they are not claimed by April 15th they will let them go per agreement with the Onancock Dock Master. Bring a snack to share Friday night at 1700 hrs on the dock. We will be on our own for Friday dinner. As we receive reservations, we will set up our own event for Saturday night. Chaired by John & Fay Koedel. Register on line at www.fbyc.net or with John & Fay Koedel at koedel@oonl.com or (804) 776-6168.
