June 27- Aug 15: SUMMER CRUISE TO NEW ENGLAND

Join fellow boaters for a fun-filled off- shore cruise to New England. Plans are (weather permitting) to leave Deltaville early on Saturday, June 27 to arrive at Block Island the afternoon of Monday, June 29. Refuel, reprovision, sleep, Mud Slides at the Oar and explore the island there. We would move on to Newport on July 1 to join up with the Ocean Cruising Club (OCC) cruise.   On July 3, we will have a short sail up Narragansett Bay to Bristol, RI. There will be fireworks on the 3rd with a parade on the 4th.

From there we will be making stops along the way to Maine. We will go through the Cape Cod Canal to the Gulf of Maine. Possible stops are Cuttyhunk, Padanaram , Provincetown, Scituate and Gloucester. There may be one overnight passage along the way to Maine. Some boats may wish to remain in the Southern New England area, while others may wish to explore further as time allows.

Once in Maine, we plan to cruise the coast down east possibly as far as St. John's, New Brunswick. Our plans will be guided by the OCC Maine Rally, once those details are known.
