DESCRIPTION The Stingray Point Regatta is FBYC's premiere offshore sailing event of the season and will be held over Labor Day Weekend. Commencing on Friday with a medium distance race around government marks, while Saturday and Sunday will feature windward-leeward courses. For the Cruising Class, the Saturday and Sunday races will be around government marks.
We anticipate the following classes:
PHRF SPINNAKER A, B & C (holding valid PHRF of the Chesapeake certificates)
PHRF NON-SPIN (holding valid PHRF of the Chesapeake certificates)
CRUISING Class (sailboats having a handicap rating assigned by FBYC)
PHRF NON-SPIN will be sailed allowing only one (1) headsail downwind.
REGISTRATION To be eligible for scoring, all participants must register prior to the start of the first race. Event registration, information and notices can be found at the event website on Regatta Network.
