Annapolis: Annapolis Area Mark “X” (R2),
1455 first Warning signal for Cruising, PHRF N, C, B, Multihull A, B
1655 first Warning signal for PHRF A, ORC
Solomons: Mark “S” off the Gazebo, honor all marks out to PR1.
1755 first Warning signal.
Potomac: Navy Buoy “P” near Dahlgren, 1755 first Warning signal.
Southern: Piankatank “5”, 1755 first Warning signal.

Course:
Annapolis: Pass to starboard: Thomas Point Light, Point No Point Light, Point Lookout
Light, then see All to Finish. Course length 68.6 NM.
Solomons: Pass to starboard: PR1, Point No Point Light, Point Lookout Light, then see
All to Finish. Course length 32.6 NM.
Potomac: East (down river) keeping RW Mo(a) “C” to Port, Ragged Point to Starboard,
rounding Mo(a) “A” to Port, then see All to Finish. Course length 46.7 NM.
Southern: Pass to port: “2R”, Smith Point Light, Potomac Mo(a) “A”, then see All to
Finish. Course Length 48.6 NM
All to Finish St. Mary’s “SM” (Fl (2+1) R6s) shall be left to Starboard, St. Mary's River
Mark G“1” (Fl G2.5s) shall be left to port, R“2” (FL R4s) left to starboard, G“3”
(Fl G6s) left to port.
Scoring: All specialty awards will use fleet scoring using a common rating system. For ORC
Classes Time on Time ratings will be used based on Weather Routing Scoring. The
ORC ratings will be issued and posted within 24 hours of the start of each class.
Finish: Between the cross on Church Point and an orange flag on the Race Committee
boat.
Time Limit: Each yacht finishing before 1530 on Saturday 3 Aug 2024 will be recorded by the race
committee. Boats finishing after 1530 on shall note their own finishing times crossing a
line due West of the cross and report to the race committee ashore.
Awards: 1st/3, 2nd/5, 3rd/9, 4th/15 & 5th/20+ registrants. Refer to Event Sailing Instructions for details.
