Leaving FBYC on the morning of 9/17 (avoids conflict with Wolftrap race on 9/16), we sail to Crisfield (34nm) for Dinner at Captainís Galley or the Watermenís Inn. There after, our itinerary will approximate the following:
9/18 - Crisfield to Solomonís (40nm) Grilled dinner on the docks @ Solomonís Yachting Center (good floating docks-call 410-326-2401-we will work on reserving slips in advance).
9/19 - Solomonís to Oxford (33nm) We will have reserved floating docks at the Tred Avon Yacht Club which charges $1.00/ft. and $10/boat for shore power. Dinner aboard or in Oxford at Robert Morris Inn or elsewhere according to subsequent research.
9/20 - In Oxford Shopping, bike rentals, ferry to St Michaels. Dinner out or aboard or at the Tred Avon Yacht Club itself-they have grilled dinners on Wednesdays and publish the menu at their website, www.tayc.com.
9/21 - Oxford to San Domingo Creek ( St. Michaels). Dinghy in for touring or shopping and early dinner or dine on the water with raftup.
9/22 - Choptank to Solomonís or, for some boats less than 40 feet, a lay-over in Flag Harbour Yacht Haven in Long Beach Md. (33nm or 24nm - this small inlet 4 miles above Cove Point has a limited number of slips and 8 ft of depth with good turning room- we can make reservations a few days in advance- if they are unable to take us, Solomonís remains a good default site).
9/23 - Flag Harbour to the great Wicomoco (44nm) where we will raft-up Sat. night in the anchorage above Sandy Point, eat each otherís leftovers, and profess our exhaustion at having such a great time.
9/24 - Short trip home to FBYC.
