May 31 - June 1: PROGRESSIVE DINNER CRUISE
On Saturday you will have a leisurely cruise up the Piankatank to an anchorage near 37o32.385íN Latitude and 76o 24.02W Longitude (in cove in front of the DeNunzio home). Go up the Piankatank to Horse Point and at day marker R-ì14î turn to a course of 305o M for about 500 yards and then turn to a course of 325 o to 330 o M for about 700 yards (follow docks until you come to 2nd from last dock with Grady White on lift and ìAmerican Pieî in slip. Anchor anywhere near the dock, as the depth is 16- 20 feet with excellent holding sand/mud bottom. Come early and enjoy a dip in the pool. There is room for a boat or two at the DeNunzio dock. Cocktails will be at Sarah Carnealís home (directly across from DeNunzioís). It is a short dingy ride to Sarahís and back to DeNunzioís for dinner. For those not having a dingy, a water shuttle will be provided. Cocktails and Hors díoeuvres will be included and provided at 1700 at Sarahís. Dinner with wine and other drinks will be served at 1900 at DeNunzioís. A Karaoke contest and dancing will follow dinner and considerable quantities of adult beverages. On Sunday morning you will sail to the Lipscombs on Stove Point (in Fishing Bay) for breakfast at 1000. Anchor off of the long dock and dinghy to it. Shallow draft boats may be able to tie up at the T at the end of the dock. After breakfast, there will be a short sail home to end the cruise. Cost for this weekend of great food, spirits, and fun with our fellow club members is $40 per person including breakfast, and $30 per person for cocktails and dinner only ($10.00 for Breakfast only).
