Fishing Bay Yacht Club is proud to the host the 2015 Laser Atlantic Coast Championship! Laser Fleet 332 has a long history of hosting Laser Regattas including the 2000 US Laser Masters, 1987 Laser Atlantic Coast Championship, multiple Laser Masters Atlantic Coast Championships and we're especially known for our now 34th annual Chesapeake Bay Laser Masters Championship.
Fishing Bay Yacht Club is located in Deltaville, Virginia just south of Rappahannock River on the Piankatank River where it spills into the Chesapeake Bay. This provides multiple sailing areas from protected bays, to open water with 17 miles of fetch- all within a 15-45 minute sail from the club. FBYC has beach launching from two ramps and plenty of space to rig and park.
Deltaville is a small, vacation river town with only a few hundred year round residents. There is one grocery store and a gas station, but the nearest traffic light is a 15 minute drive from the club - making it a great place to get away and enjoy the water. And with that - choice lodging will go quick -so be sure to register early and make reservations. A complete list of options including approximate distances from the club can be found here. - Click the Sign Up link on the left (You may need to create an FBYC website account first)
- Select your fleet, entry and any extra food options you want
- Repeat Steps 2-3 for any additional sailors in your family.
