Notice of Race Posted & Registration Open - 44th Chesapeake Bay ILCA Masters Championship

Fishing Bay Yacht Club is excited to announce that the Notice of Race for the 44th Chesapeake Bay ILCA Masters Championship is now posted - and registration is officially open! This year’s event will be held October 5–6, 2024, welcoming ILCA sailors ages 30 and up for two days of competitive racing, great food (by Alain Vincey!), and the camaraderie that has made this regatta a Chesapeake Bay tradition.
Expect tight racing on the water, a few fun surprises on shore, and yes - every sailor will go home with a commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last).
Classes & Starts
We’ll be sailing ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 rigs. If 12 or more sailors are registered in each rig by September 1, we’ll run separate starts. Otherwise, a combined fleet will race with prizes awarded in each age group, plus special awards for the first woman and overall champions.
