NOTICE The event information below, used in conjunction with with the General One Design Notice of Race, comprises the complete NOTICE OF RACE for the event.
DESCRIPTION This family-friendly event encourages and promotes families who sail together. The skipper/crew combination must be family members. They can be of any age and relationship, such as, but not limited to, father-son, mother-daughter, wife-husband, grandparent-grandchild, siblings, cousins, etc. Juniors are welcome and encouraged! The YAM committee (Young Adult Members) will once again head up the race committee! While we list some names as event chairs, in fact the YAM Committee is running the event. REGISTRATION Advance registration is expected at www.fbyc.net under the link in the Document Tab or directly in Regatta Network
CLASSES Flying Scot and Front Runner as well as any One Design class of any three or more like or unlike one-design boats. The Portsmouth Number (D-PN) handicapping system will be used to score classes of unlike boats.
SKIPPERS' MEETING At 1030 on the downstairs porch of the main clubhouse
RACING The warning signal for the first start will be at 1200 followed by subsequent races.
SOCIAL Due to COVID19 concerns, please check for updates with the Event Chair as we get closer to the date. We will evaluate the Social for his event as conditions evolve
AWARDS Awards will be presented by the Race Chair for the day’s racing.
