2021 FBYC Start of the St. Mary's Governor's Cup Race

Since 2015 FBYC has hosted a southern leg start to the St. Mary's Governor's Cup. With starts in Annapolis, Solomons and Fishing Bay - all of the fleets start Friday afternoon and evening and race overnight meeting at St. Marys. There's a great party Saturday night and most crews return home Sunday.
We had a gorgeous night for the start out at FBYC's G (Rappahannock 1R). The wind was light and the current was strong making the start a challenge not to be over early. That same current carried the fleet swiftly north after the start. The second highlight for the RC were the 50+ dolphins in all directions as they were weighing anchor.
