Oyster Gardening Workshop - October 24th 9-11 a.m.

Interested in learning more about oyster farming? The workshop below is being offered locally for just that purpose !

Many of you have noticed the oyster reefs, cages and float at the yacht club. It is our attempt to add to the health of the waters we enjoy. Please feel free to join in the effort at your own water front property and start your own oyster garden endeavor.

Every little bit helps.

WHAT: Learn how to grow oysters at your docks

WHEN: Saturday, October 24 from 9-11 a.m.

WHERE: The Urbanna Town Marina

(In case of inclement weather, the workshop will be held indoors at Christchurch School)

DETAILS: Attendance is FREE and oyster floats will be available for purchase for those who have pre-registered ($120 preassembled; $100 assembled at workshop).
