State-of-the-Club Update

Over the last several years, we have had an informal membership meeting over the Labor Day weekend to give members an update on goings on around the Club and upcoming plans. You may recall that we held a virtual membership meeting earlier in the season and we have decided that under current conditions, it would be prudent to avoid an indoor gathering. We have been communicating plans and events through various formats, The Log, Wednesday “blasts” and separate communications. In general terms, the state of the Club is excellent. We are looking at certain infrastructure needs involving the docks and equipment, and we will certainly share more information on options with you as plans develop. Club events and programs are well attended with Covid precautions and warnings in place. We have implemented a number of daily routines in making our facilities usable.
We are currently considering an outdoors, “socially distant” social that will celebrate the season. You should be hearing more about that in the very near future. In the meantime, enjoy the Club in a safe and responsible way.
