Welcome Brochure published for FS North Americans

1.  Noel and his team have published a 20 page Welcome Brochure which we will give you upon arrival - but it might be more fun to have a copy in your car as you drive towards Fishing Bay. It has all the logistical info you need, plus beautiful ads from many of our event sponsors.  You may get a copy - 6 MB download - at the bottom of the list at the top of the NAC event web page - http://www.fbyc.net/fsnacs  specifically at http://www.fbyc.net/Events/2007/06.24.onedesign/Welcome%20Brochure%206MB   Enjoy.

2. Directions to FBYC are available at http://www.fbyc.net/Club/Directions  - maybe you should print that page too.  If you have problems call me on my cell 804-405-5999 or Noel Clinard on his cell 804-338-4066

3. Weather  - All our weather links are on our web site at http://www.fbyc.net/Club/Weather  but my favorite is http://co-ops.nos.noaa.gov/ofs/cbofs/wind_forecast.shtml which somehow predicts the winds for the upcoming rolling 24 hours.  Fishing Bay is just below the horizontal dotted line between 37.20 and 38.00 on the western side of the bay.

4. Press - we now have several Press inquiries for coverage - the latest being JH Peterson - a photographer from Sailing World Magazine.  Put on your smiles, and later your eyeglasses, to read the article!!    And we have one Flying Scot registered for the beginnings of a Spectator Fleet.

5.  Schedule - Early Bird Registrations begin at FBYC 1300-1700 on Saturday and resume at West Marine 0800-1700 on Sunday.  Inspections are available on both Saturday and Sunday at FBYC at the Stable.  We have 9 Juniors and 6 Women set to race on Sunday Afternoon - followed by the Regatta Officials and Competitors Procession - a not to be missed event - at 1745 at FBYC, followed by a Reception and dinner.    And Championship and Challenger Classes begin racing on Monday.

6.  Merchandising - Hopefully Noel will have plenty of his various unique regatta apparel items on site - hats, polos, and both Flying Scot and 2007 NAC logo neckties from vineyard vines - all at the FBYC store.   Personalization is also available.  Plus Coral Reef Sailing Apparal will have a on-site store operating during the event.
