HOWARD McCUE, JR.
4/12/1917 – 12/23/2010

Howard McCue, Jr., distinguished Richmond Cardiologist and Insurance Executive, died on December 23, 2010 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Emma Gray Emory McCue; his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Robert Osteen; his son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Judith McCue III; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Dr. McCue was predeceased by his first wife, Carolyn Moore McCue, who died in April 1999.

Dr. McCue graduated from the University of Virginia in 1937. He then entered medical school at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. It was there that he met Carolyn, who was also studying to be a doctor at a time …
