Not knowing the future, we will continue to take registrations for our summer Junior programs and certainly hope that we can provide them as planned. We will know more in the weeks to come and will communicate any changes as we learn of them.
Our goal is to continue to focus on providing the very best summer experience for our young sailors while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for them and their families and for the local community. In the event we are forced to cancel any summer programs, we will be providing a full and complete refund. Our goal is to make this decision by June 1st should we have to.
To find our more about these exciting junior programs, please go to the Junior pages on the FBYC.net site. Information about Junior Week, Opti Kids, our Summer Race teams and other sailing opportunities are being updated as we speak. If you have questions about our programs please email juniors@fbyc.net.
Wind, fog and dead calm infused with heat indexes over 100 degrees did not stop our FBYC Junior Laser sailors from racing fast in the Laser North American Championships in Brant Beach, NJ July 18-21. With more than 120 contenders, including adults, this was the largest regatta for many of our Juniors. Our eight racers, along with their coach, braved the conditions and represented FBYC well. Pictured are Logan Hayes, Guthrie Braun, Joshua Almany, Morey Levy, Jack Cabell, Luke Hayes (CNU), Finn Ciszewski, Coach Alex Zimmermann, Jordan Bendura, Joshua Bendura. Special shout-outs to Guthrie Braun who placed 6th in Laser Radials and Jordan Bendura who placed 18th.
Last week was a wonderful time of learning to sail and making new friends in our Junior Week program! Many thanks go to countless volunteers to make it happen.

Rig a boat and take it out for a spin with our instructors to get ready for a week of fun at Junior Week.
Sign up for one or both afternoons! Click on the date below to register:
